Newell Rubbermaid

Atlanta, Georgia

Newell Rubbermaid had strong ideas about what it wanted for its new global headquarters in Sandy Springs, a suburb of Atlanta. To reinforce the brand, the company envisioned one consumer marketing hub that consolidated office and meeting space with a state-of-the-art customer collaboration center. Wakefield Beasley was hired to design a 14-story, 372,000 square foot building on the tight site that would increase creativity and collaboration among employees and partners. The firm worked closely with the client and the newly-established city of Sandy Springs to develop a contextually-appropriate corporate space with a connected parking deck adjacent to an on-site man-made pond. The firm then collaborated with Newell Rubbermaid to perfect its interior design vision.
