Project Snapshot: Turano Baking

Wakefield Beasley and Associates provided complete design service for this 107,200 square foot baking facility to house some of the most cutting-edge technology available in the wholesale baking industry for Turano Baking Company, one of the largest bread makers in the nation, in Villa Rica, Georgia. It features over 66,000 square feet of space for production, 18,000 square feet of freezer and cooler space, as well as 6,000 square feet of office space. The facility’s exterior walls of the freezer and cold docks are insulated with metal panels, while the production and office space walls are non-insulated tilt-up concrete panels. The building is designed for future expansion to include additional production lines.
