Phase II : Paulding Sheriff’s Office and Training Facility
Date: November 24, 2015
Wakefield Beasley & Associates was awarded Phase I and II of the new Paulding Sheriff’s Office and Training Facility Complex located in Dallas, GA. Phase I, an outdoor firing range, was completed in 2014 and phase II, the Training Facility, was completed in November 2015.
The brand new training facility is 10,000 square feet and contains the necessary support spaces for the adjacent firing range. This includes classrooms, offices, conference room, locker rooms, kitchen, armory and storage rooms. Another key component to the facility is a large community room where staff or large groups can meet together.
Sheriff Gulledge and county officials made sure that the new facility was thoroughly thought about, designed for future growth, is cost effective and that it would benefit many individuals in law enforcement. “Once all phases of this training center have been completed, it will be a state of the art facility and will not only train our Deputies, but it will train law enforcement officers from all over this region how to better do their job” says Sheriff Gulledge.
